There are 3-types of linear LED tubes:
- Type A: This is a direct replacement of the T8 tube.
- Type B: This LED tube is self-ballasted which means applying the 110V A/C directly to the lamp. (Currently not permitted for use in Ontario, Canada)
- Type C: This linear tube uses a remote driver.
